“We spent an idyllic autumn break in the house which is a beautiful building constructed by the owners’ on the home farm using materials from the old buildings. Internally the stonework and structural timber are exposed showing the high quality of the work and providing an ambiance of solidity and comfort. The fittings and furnishings are of the first quality and there is nothing more one could wish for in terms of comfort and ease and absolute cleanliness.
Breakfast time was always very pleasant and one could take coffee out in the garden relaxing with the daily paper ElCorreo.
Train and bus services are excellent running through the local pueblo Zamudio to Bilbao.
A car is not essential though very useful for getting to the many points of interest so numerous in this fascinating country.”
